About the Programme

The Akasa SkyCadet Pilot Training Programme leads through ground school, Commercial Pilot Licence flight training and Boeing 737 MAX type rating. Akasa identifies aptitude, cognitive ability, communication and readiness for pilot training as important parts of its selection process.

Prepare with IFA

Starting pilot training requires the willingness to study consistently, take feedback and work responsibly with others. Our SkyCadet preparation helps students put those qualities into practice while strengthening the knowledge and reasoning they bring to selection.

Lessons, tests and mentoring give preparation a clear rhythm: learn a concept, apply it, review the result and return to what needs more work.

What the Course Covers

Academic Preparation

Mathematics and Physics revision supports calculation skills and the ability to apply familiar concepts to a new problem. English preparation focuses on understanding questions and communicating an answer clearly. These are IFA preparation areas; Akasa's public page does not publish a detailed chapter-by-chapter entrance syllabus.

Aptitude and Cognitive Skills

Students work on interpreting information, recognising relationships and choosing a reasoned response. Practice places equal emphasis on understanding instructions and avoiding errors caused by rushing.

Psychometric Assessment Awareness

Preparation explains the purpose of personality and ability assessments and the different approaches they require. Self-reflection helps students describe their usual behaviour honestly and understand how they respond to responsibility, change and pressure.

Communication and Interview Preparation

Mentoring helps applicants discuss why they want to become a pilot and what draws them to the SkyCadet pathway. Work on personal examples covers accepting feedback, managing a setback, maintaining a commitment and cooperating with other people.

Understanding the SkyCadet Pathway

Students develop a clear understanding of the stages ahead and the effort professional pilot training requires. This gives their interview answers a practical foundation beyond enthusiasm for flying.

Selection Process and Assessment Pattern

Akasa's published selection information describes aptitude tests, psychometric assessments and in-person interviews. The airline does not publish a fixed number of questions, assessment duration or chapter syllabus on its programme page — the official invitation determines the arrangements for each applicant.
