RTR(A) Part 1 (Written Examination Preparation)
About the Course
RTR(A) Part 1 covers the knowledge behind aviation radio communication: the regulations governing its use, the principles of radio equipment and the procedures used by pilots and air traffic services.
At IFA, we teach these areas together so students can understand the reason behind a procedure as well as remember it. Lessons cover radio principles, communication requirements and standard phraseology, supported by chapter tests and revision notes.
The course is suitable for students preparing for their first written attempt and those who need to revisit the syllabus before appearing again.
